New COVID-19 Protocols Updates

To our valued clients,

We have done a mid – July reassessment of our COVID-19 policy, and we have made some adjustments. We will still have a locked-door policy, so please call us when you arrive for your appointment. We also still ask that anyone coming into the clinic even for food to please wear a mask as we will still be wearing ours. In regards to being with your pets during an appointment, we are as of Monday July 19th, 2021, allowing owners to come in for their appointment if they would like too. We ask that only one person come in for the appointment and that you wear a mask as well. If you are uncomfortable with coming in with your pet for the appointment please just let us know and we can accommodate this request.

Dr.Bassam is so beyond helpful, caring, experienced, and a truly wonderful person. I realized I ran out of prescription cat food when I got home from work late today. Luckily this vet is open till 9pm on Wednesdays and they gladly let me come 5 minutes before closing to buy a bag of food quickly. Very friendly service too, I apologize for stopping in so late! The price on the cat food was a lot more reasonable than the other vet I had been going to! I’ll be buying my cat food here from now on, especially since it’s so close to home.

I cannot truly express how amazing all the staff are at the Chappelle Veterinary Clinic. My regular vet is a mobile vet and are closed on the weekends. We noticed my dog had bloody diarrhea on Friday evening and when I called on Saturday morning at 8 am, Dr. Bassam spoke with me on the phone and got us in right away. My pup is also anxious when meeting new people and everyone was very calm and understanding, even when he got a little rowdy towards the end of the visit. The staff also assisted with submitting our claim to our insurance and Dr. Bassam eased my worries and spoke with me multiple times when I called with questions. Thank you to Dr. Bassam and everyone at the clinic. Chappelle is incredibly lucky to have you looking after our fur babies. I wouldn’t hesitate calling and booking at this clinic again!

My dog Marshall, needed surgery to remove several fat lumps. Dr. Bassam performed the surgery and a dental cleaning. Marshall was well taken care of during his time at the clinic, the surgery went great and the aftercare was outstanding. I called the clinic on several occasions with questions and I was treated with compassion and patience, even if I was being a little nervous. I will definitely continue referring Dr. Bassam to my friends and family with pets.

I brought him in thinking he had an upset stomach, but after a thorough examination, they discovered he had a serious medical issue and needed a minor surgery. Chappelle Vet Clinic is nothing short of AMAZING. I usually bring my cat into Fort Saskatchewan since I moved to Edmonton. My cat has been very ill so I decided to bring her to Chappelle. I was nervous to bring her to a new vet. They fit me in immediately at 8:30AM and I had called them at 8AM. The vet is incredibly genuine and caring as well as informative and realistic. They did everything to figure out what was wrong with my baby and didn’t let her needs burn out my wallet. She even got a heating pad and blanket after her blood work and IV fluids. I would recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their pets. My roommate is also switching to this vet because she can be confident they will take good care of her due to my amazing experience. If you are looking for a place to take your sick pet, just know you can take them here and you don’t have to be worried. The vet truly cares about the well being of all pets and I couldn’t be happier with their services. I would give 5 million stars if it was possible.
