Achara is a 2014 Olds College graduate from the Animal Health Technology program. She began her career in veterinary medicine at a dental referral clinic where she fell in love with pet dentistry, before extending her passion for helping animals at a busy 24-hour emergency hospital.

In addition to dentistry, her professional interests include anesthesiology, feline medicine, and providing a fear free and enjoyable experience for all her furry patients.

She currently lives in Spruce Grove with her talkative tortoiseshell cat, Spaz.

Ellysa recently graduated from NAIT’s AHT program in 2019 and is excited to be a part of this fantastic team. Ellysa has always had a passion for animals; furry, feathered, scaled… she loves them all. Ellysa’s journey to RVT started young, convincing stray cats to follow her home, watching the cattle graze on her uncle’s farm, adopting a pair of gerbils to take care of, and curling up on the couch with her cat, Pumpkin.
Later, she started working at a pet store which further made her love and appreciation for companion and exotic animals grow. While in her first year at NAIT, she started a summer student job at a small animal clinic and furthered her technical skills, working hard to become the best she can be.
Now graduated and registered, Ellysa is still learning new things every day and am continuing to grow. She has an interest in radiology, laboratory work, and geriatric medicine (Bring on the senior citizens!). At home, she has two cats (Smokey and Eevee), two budgies (Murphy and Bennie), and a brown-headed parrot (Spike).

Hayley has been working in the veterinary industry for 3 years. She has recently decided to further pursue her passion for animal health by going back to school. In order to develop her skills further, she is currently enrolled in the veterinary technology program through distance learning at Penn Foster. This gives her the ability to work full time with your pets while simultaneously learning in the clinic environment. Hayley is a lover of every animal type; big or small, hairy or hairless. She has a small zoo of her own which consists of three orange cats and a German shepherd mix named Luna. She is looking forward to being a part of the CVC team and getting to know the pets in her community.

Becca is our part time vet tech assistant, and is looking forward to helping your pets live their happiest, healthiest lives! A graduate of NAIT’s Veterinary Medical Assistant program, Becca also has experience working in an emergency veterinary hospital and is currently completing her Animal Health Technology diploma. Her passion for her career is matched by her love of animals: Becca has a Husky-Lab cross named Jasper and has had an array of exotic pets in the past including a rabbit, lizard, a couple of hamsters and even two sugar gliders!
